Adult Literacy Assistance
The Brunner Literacy Center is an adult literacy support resource nestled right here in the City of Trotwood. Located at 4825 Salem Avenue, across from Maria-Joseph Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, the Center believes literacy is a basic human right and that every person they serve deserves to be treated with privacy and dignity. Staff at the Center provides free one-on-one tutoring in reading and math, assistance to parents who have school-age children in need of help with homework and/or other life skills, book discussion groups, remedial instruction to help pass college entrance tests, and a host of other services. Open Monday – Thursday, those interested in the Brunner Literacy Center’s services should schedule an appointment by calling (937) 567-9600.
