Westbrooke Village Elementary School houses Trotwood-Madison's 4th and 5th grades in a beautiful 54,065 square foot facility.
This building was constructed in 2007 on the existing site of the school being replaced. The building employs simple, traditional corridors with one wing dedicated to 4th grade and one to 5th grade. A displacement ventilation system helps create an energy efficient environment. This type of HVAC strategy supplies heated air at the floor level and, through natural convection, returns air at a higher level to re-circulate through the system, providing greater comfort for the students. With the re-opening of this beautiful facility, the Trotwood-Madison City School District is well prepared to accept the challenge of educating its students in this modern, strategically placed facility that can serve not only the students well, but also the neighborhood in which it is situated, thereby strengthening the community.
