Curriculum and Instruction
Mission: Trotwood Madison City Schools is dedicated to graduating all students who are prepared to excel in a global society with a commitment to lifelong learning by guaranteeing a challenging curriculum facilitated by an innovative and dedicated staff, community participation, and state of the art resources in a stimulating atmosphere.
Through the collaboration of school administrators, teacher, and outside consultants, Trotwood Madison City Schools has recently adopted an Instructional Framework that will guide instruction of our scholars in a multitiered structure under the foundation of four pillars. The framework itself is built on John Hattie's meta analysis research in the area of High Impact Instructional Strategies and connects common instructional threads between his work and Ohio's Teacher Evaluation System (OTES 2.0).
It is through the use of this framework in conjunction with the high quality instructional materials that we have been able to put into the hands of our teachers and scholars that we look forward to making great strides in the area of teaching and learning.
