Trotwood Madison High School 

is proud to announce 

2019 Athletic Hall of Fame

Inaugural Class Induction Ceremony

Thursday, August 29, 2019

The Mandalay Banquet & Event Center 5:00pm

Tickets are $40.00 and can be purchased in the high school main office


Inaugural class will include six former student athletes.


LaVonna Martin Floreal - class of 1984 2 time state champ in the 100m hurdles, 300m hurdles state champ, state champ in the 100 and 200m dash, led the Lady Rams to back to back State  T&F Team Titles in 1983 & 1984. A 1988 Silver medalist at the Olympic Games in Seoul, South Korea. Graduated from the Univ. of Tennessee and was a 14 time All-American.


Lamar Preyor -class of 1975 led Trotwood to a State runner up performance; state champ 100 & 200, 5 time All-American at the University of Tennessee, a 2 time Olympic Trials qualifier


Vincent Gay - class of 1999 1st and only state champ in wrestling; 3 time state finalist. USA wrestling All-American honorable mention. Dayton Daily News Defensive Player of the year. Went on to Univ. of Penn. Edinboro. Principal at Golder College Prep in Chicago.


Tom Wright - class of 1966 first athlete to win a state title in T&F in the 440 yard dash. Went on to Bowling Green State Univ. - graduated in 1966. While at BGSU Tom  was recognized as a 3-time All-American. Became the Head Coach at BGSU from 1980-1990. Earned a PhD became a college professor.


Zach Logan - class of 2004 2x state champ ; Nike All-American. All-State Defensive Back accepted a scholarship to Purdue to play football. Graduated from Purdue with a business degree. He has dedicated his life to developing and mentoring young men as a college coach. 


Chris Wright - class of 2007 Nominated for McDonald’s All-American; went on to play for the Univ. of Dayton. Played in the NBA for the Golden State Warriors, Milwaukee Bucks, and Tronoto Raptors. Currently in Oklahoma City Thunder organization. He puts on an annual Life skills basketball camp free of charge to area youth.
